Saudi content creators took the spotlight at a TikTok event in Riyadh’s JAX Beast House, where the platform showcased its growing impact on the Kingdom’s digital and creative economy.

The event featured discussions with local creators Yasmeen Al-Shafai and Fareed Al-Shahrani, alongside insights from TikTok executives on how the platform connects businesses with creators to drive engagement and growth. TikTok also released its “TikTok Effect Report”, developed with Redseer Strategy Consultants, highlighting the platform’s economic contribution.
Key findings included:
- 1M+ creators and 170,000 SMEs active on TikTok in Saudi Arabia.
- SR3.9 billion ($1.04B) added to Saudi GDP in 2024, supporting 25,000+ jobs.
- SR3 billion in extra revenue generated for SMBs through TikTok ads.
- 55% of SMBs said the platform encourages youth entrepreneurship.
- Consumer spending of SR110 billion influenced by TikTok in 2024.
TikTok’s role goes beyond entertainment, fostering entrepreneurship, empowering female founders, creating jobs, and boosting Saudi Arabia’s global image in tourism, sports, and culture.
